

Custom ink colors are available via a $25 custom mixing fee and carry a minimum requirement of 250 pieces. Standard ink color options for tag printing are black and tonal (think the shirt color mixed with white). Another benefit here is the print can be unlimited colors, but the cost is much higher because of the time required with transfers. Heat transfer tags are our default for all fleece garments such as hoodies and pullovers as it provides the most image clarity on a fleecy fabric. Screen printed tags are less efficient from a time and material standpoint, but offer a larger range of both color and print size with a maximum size of 4" x 4". However, size and color is limited here to a max of 2.5" x 2.5" and basic colors: black, tonal white, and medium grey. Pad printed tags can also hold great detail from an image clarity standpoint. Pad printing is efficient from a material standpoint after creating the plates and they're pretty quick to print in comparison to screen and transfer tags. All three methods have their pros and cons. Our standard print method for all custom tags is pad printing, but we also offer custom tags via screen printing and heat transfer.
